Bread Tags For Wheelchairs
This project has two major focuses, the first being reducing plastic waste created by bread tags by re-purposing them into other useful products. The second focus is to raise money for wheelchairs to be given to elderly, disabled or needy people in South Africa.
We engage with local businesses and ask them to keep their bread tags, they give these tags to us, and we give them to a plastics recycling organisation. The profit from this transaction then goes as a donation to buy a fully functional wheelchair through the charity, Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs
